Ingredients
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Honey Mustard
  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 small Onion diced
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dark Molasses
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice fresh only
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Steak Sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Pure Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Tamarind paste
  • 1 1/2 cups Light brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt or to own taste
  • 1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke
  • 1 teaspoon Hot sauce
Instructions
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the ketchup, mustard, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, steak sauce, Tamarind paste, dark molasses, honey, oil, hot sauce, and brown sugar, and liquid smoke.
  2. In another small bowl, thoroughly mix chili powder, black pepper, and the table salt.
  3. Over medium heat, warm the oil in a large saucepan. Add the onions and sauté until limp and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  4. Crush the garlic, add it to the pan and cook for about 1 minute.
  5. Add the dry spices and stir for a few minutes to marry their flavors.
  6. Add the wet ingredients. Simmer over medium heat for 25 minutes with the lid off to thicken it.
