Italian Sausage Pepper and Onions are one of the quintessential Italian-American classics. Italian sausages are grilled, broiled, or fried, then topped with fried onions and bell peppers.

The flavor and smell of Italian Sausage, Pepper, and Onions are precisely what it means to be an Italian-American here in the USA. It’s one of the dishes of immigrants from Southern Italy who made their home here in the US.

One of the things most people love about these delicious Italian sausage and pepper sandwiches is how flavorful and aromatic the ingredient combination is. I decided to use red, green, and yellow peppers today because each pepper has its unique flavor and seems to add to the taste of this delicious sandwich.
