Thanksgiving is right around the corner and there are usually a few leftovers that will need to be used, so why not make deliciously flavorful Thanksgiving Leftover Sandwiches? Thanksgiving Leftover Sandwiches are so simple to make and taste wonderful.
One of my favorite things to do is use a quality crusty yet super soft artesian roll and pile it high with delicious Cajun seasoned white turkey breast meat, sage stuffing, cranberries, and yes a few mashed potatoes, a splash of homemade turkey gravy, and maybe some cheese. So darn good! There is nothing in this world that compares to comfort food all bundled together on a wonderfully fresh Artesian roll. It’s one of my favorite parts of the Thanks Giving Holidays. Not having to cook anything yet having so many wonderful foods to use. I don’t know about you but that is an Epic win in my book, how about yours?
There are several awesome brands of Artesian Rolls at the market these days you can pick up and lightly toast in a preheated oven for a few moments on 350 degrees F to 400 degrees F. Or you can stop at the bakery if you want or even make your own homemade rolls. It’s really up to you.
I usually take the easy way out of making the rolls, buy them at the market and toast them up in the oven or stop at the bakery. I want to enjoy my Friday after Thanksgiving totally vegging out on the couch. It’s usually my lazy day. After cooking up a storm and cleaning up I need a lazy day. I think we all do the day after Thanksgiving don’t we?
Look at this amazing Thanksgiving Leftover Sandwich, piled high with all the flavors we love on Thanksgiving day. I’m telling you for me it’s the perfect way to use up the items I love and have a great tasting lunch or dinner item that takes a few short minutes to assemble.
