I use freshly minced garlic, but you can substitute ready-made minced garlic in a jar from the market if need be to save some time when making this.

Tips for the recipe:

  1. Use a quality brand of Cresent Rolls instead of the off-brand for optimal flavor.
  2. Have the provolone cheese sliced at the deli counter, so it is the perfect thickness for the recipe.
  3. If you make Homemade pizza sauce that’s perfect for this recipe, if not, a good quality brand of organic pizza sauce will do the trick.
  4. Fresh garlic is more flavorful, but in a pinch, you can use minced jarred garlic.
  5. Be sure to preheat the oven in advance to 400 Degrees.

  • This is a great idea for back to school and summer snacks for the kids. I have one that hates pepperoni, do you think ham would be good too?

  • The heck with the kids this would be perfect for card night with the guys. Do you have anymore apps like this? Let me know.

    • Ha Ha, Marcus, use them for whatever you like, that actually is a good idea for them too. I have a few other things you might like. Just use the search and type appetizers or starters.
